  Discussion on Eye-white boarder

My pony has had uveitis with no major flares in
the last year. He also has glaucoma which I have
been using temorol 2x a day. His eye only looks
slightly bulgy and takes close looking to see the
difference from the other eye.
Now for my question I have noticed on the inner
border of his iris a
white out line like the cornea (not like his small
cateract that he has at 5 to six oclock at the
bottom of the eye) It follows the outline of his
iris and goes from 8 to 11 oclock and maybe 1/16
to 1/8 in width. Is this a sign of more problems?
I don't see it in the other eye-or could it have
been like this and I never noticed (i don't think
so as I have been paying close attention-and think
it started showing about 2 weeks ago). Ihate to
call the vet for every little thing as he is
really doing well compared to other horses I have
seen with his condition.
Thanks in advance! Kim

I do not think so much an indication of more problems when such changes are not accompanied by signs of pain and inflammation. More likely this is the result of pass troubles. Depigmentation of the iris can be the result of chronic inflammation.
