Hi - I too have a horse that was abandoned in pasture - all the horses (mares & stallions) were starving to death when intervention finally saved these horses - the County and the SPCA were called - my mare received at auction was so thin and starved that even professional breeders could not tell she was pregnant unitl 2 weeks before giving birth to a healthy colt - CALL the SPCA - CALL the POLICE - CALL the SHERIFFS - CALL a HORSE PROTECTION LEAGUE - CALL ANYONE - a horse needs a human voice to speak for them because the horses cannot speak for themselves - don't wait!!
