Since founder is being discussed here, I thought I would show a couple of dissected hooves.
The first picture shows the solar view of coffin bone, the corium that covers the coffin bone, and the sole pulled back.
Second pic shows a grossly foundered hoof, solar view again, with sole removed.
Third pic same foundered foot, showing view of the wall lamellae.
Normally it takes two people to be able to rip the wall off of the hoof, but this founder ripped off easily, as it was so detatched (rotated)from the wall.
