My instructor was hauling her horse about 7-9 hourse for a clinic. To help keep him hydrated en route, she soaked his filled haynet in water the night before.

I thought this was a good idea because it seems so hard to get a horse to drink when you stop and offer water on a trip.

It would also keep the dust down from the breeze in the trailer.

Just thought I'd pass it on.
