My vet wants to give my three day old foal a tetanus. Is this okay or should I wait until she is 6 months?

Whether or not he is giving the antitoxin or toxoid and the vaccination status of the mare all affect the best time to vaccinate. For more see the Vaccine Overview article, article on Tetanus (» Equine Diseases » Nervous System » Tetanus) and for specific recommendations see, » Care for Horses » Vaccines & Coggin's Test » Vaccine Schedules.
