I'd like to know if meranti shavings are harmful for horses. They use this for bedding were we stable my mare. After a few minutes in the stable I start coughing.

Its really dusty and I'm worried about what it will do to her. Is it dangerous?

I've never heard of meranti shavings, but I'd be concerned about the dust! Can you dampen then down?
