An old farmer at the auction told me that they use sulpur to worm their horses. One oz. for 3 days and then 9 days off.. repeat and so on. He said that you do not use it in the winter. He said this also takes care of lice and keeps flies from landing on the horses since the sulphur comes through their pours. He said they also use this on cows. Has anyone ever heard of this?????

I have not heard on using sulfur in this manner. Topical lime-sulfur is a treatment for external parasites but there are cheaper, more effective treatments.
