I will be moving to Kentucky in a few months but at am a loss as to how to locate where the vet's and farriers are in that area. I have found an Equine Hospital in Lexington but thats 4 hours from where I will be moving. Anyone have any tips on how to find out where vet's, etc are located when your moving to a small town? Is there some sort of list or something that is accessible? Thanks

When I moved to the coast of NC from the middle of the state - I started asking everywhere I went about Equine Vets, Hospitals, Farriers. The people in the area are gonna know it best. They will be able to tell you good ones from their experiences, because they have probably gone thru several till they found one they liked. I also called several stables nearby to see who they used, where they got their hay and such as well.
