My barn owner has been trying predator insects for fly control this year and initially was having trouble making it work. The company rep offered a lot of suggestions and they released beaucoup insects, but we were still not having acceptable control - until ...

We stopped feeding beet pulp for the summer months and the fly population in the barn DrOpped dramatically. The predator insect company suggested this as the wet beet pulp and remainder in the feed bins attracts them very, very well.

So, if you are having troubles with flies, you may want to suspend your beet pulp feeding until cool weather.

Cheers!
