I have a yearling filly who has two large marble sized bumps under her jaw. They are about 1 1/2" in diameter, soft, and not painful. My vet suggested that I put her on sulfa pills for 7 days and see if she was trying to fight something. We have finished the sulfa's and no change. She shows no signs of runny nose, off feed or anything else odd. Could these be a tooth problem? Have had other young horses who had bumps but they were hard and went away as they aged and got their older teeth in.
Thanks appreciate any help.

These are probably the submandibular lymph nodes Jean and as long as the filly is otherwise healthy no treatment is needed nor should it have been recommended, see:
