My two yearlings have been at my place for about 6 months and have not touched the 3 trees in the pasture. I've recently intoduced a third horse who IS eating the bark and it seems he has turned the other two on to the joys of eating trees.

Is this a nutrition problem? Other than the obvious solution of fencing - is there anything
I can paint on the trees to reduce their chewing?
