I feed a warm beet pulp, bran and ground flax seed mash in winter. After I mix and soak in a bucket, I use a plastic pastry scraper (about $1) to clean out the inside of the bucket to get all the mash out. Only takes a few seconds and does a great job.

Hey Gail, good idea there. That would also be great to make sure any medicine has been included in the mash. Gonna have to get one now.

The plastic scaprer is a great idea. I use a plastic paint stir stick. It just happened to be handy one day, it works well, maybe not as good as a spatula
