I have to keep one of my horses blanketed. She had a bout with Rain rot (which really freaked me out) So occasionally I will swab the inside of her blanket with some Povidone solution with a paint roller. Then let air dry.
*I waited until her scabs were healed, washed her blankets, brushes etc. But I am worried it might come back. So far this has worked great and she hasnt had anymore problems.
