Dear Mr. O.,
I've been feeding my 20 months old filly with Osteparon (as supplement) since her birth.
She is now about 16 hands (about 950 lbs).
Do I need to feed her with Osteparon any further?
Thank you in advance for your reply.

Hello Isabella,
What is in the Osteparon and what dosage do you use?

Osteparon is a supplement to assure the correct development of bones and muscles(to avoid OCD) in foal and yearling. I supply it also to my mare during pregnancy. It is produced by ACME. It contains Lysine, Methionine, Selenium, Zinc. Manganese and Copper. The daily dosage is of about 50 gr per day.

Do you know the concentration of each of the ingredients? In general a good diet and a trace mineral block would provide all these nutrients in goodly amounts and further supplementation unnecessary.
