do pelleted feeds digest better, giving the horse more nutritional benefit?

Hello Carolyn,
It does depend on how the pellets are processed but grinding (all pellets) and steam extrusion (some pellets) both increase the digestibility of the major nutrients as long as they are not overcooked.
