LIGHTS EFFECTING HORSE BEHAVIOR!!!
Has anyone ever heard or know what could be causing this, Our 12yr, old gelding is a paint show horse, we have owned and shown him for 4yrs, going on five. But due to his eyes he is coming home to retire, He is the sweetest thing , but for the last 10mths his eyes have become so light sensitive,if you go near him with camera flashes or reflections from the sun or even seeing a lighter click he is terrified, he snorts, backs and now even bolting, the vet has checked his eyes for normalities, and now he is scheduled to have them checked at Rochester equine clinic
which should be interesting, but now he's so bad off he could really hurt someone we have no choise but to bring him home, Why has this happened to him, Ive never seen such a drastic change in any horses behavior. Any CLUE? Even if
we find out something, I don't ever think he'll ever get over the fright. We've lost hope in showing him again. LIGHTS, WHO WOULD THINK THAT COULD RUIN YOUR HORSE!!!!
