Discussion on Fescue - One month, two months or three months?

I am a little confused by the article on fescue. Do you take your mares off the last tri-mester because you question the results of the study or because you have had problems with mares that were only taken off the last thirty days?

I currently have my mares in 300' x300' fescue paddock. For the most part, the paddock is eaten to the ground and if was never let go to seed. Since the endophyte is only in the seed head, would it be safe to leave the mares in the pasture up to the thirty day period or would you still take them off the last tri-mester?

Neither Scott,
I think the research is good and those horses that had to follow the 30 day minimum have done OK, I am just being careful. The endophyte is not only in the seed head but in all the tissues of the plant.
