Discussion on Warts on a 2 year old
Author Message

Posted on Tuesday, Jul 23, 2002 - 1:47 pm:

I have a 2 year old gelding with warty bumps (about 30) under his jaw line. These are not the large bumps that the new teeth make, but small and roundish (size of an eraser on a pencil). There is one cluster that seems to have less hair on it. Does this sound like I am describing warts? If so, how do I treat them?
Thanks, Pam

Possilbly Pam, warts on horses look very much like warts of people. For more information see, Equine Diseases: Skin Diseases: Overview of Bumps, Nodules, Warts & Tumors.
