Hello, I see that people are now vaccinating their broodmares for WNV, my question is when ? My mare is due to foal May 2003. Since I need to do 2 vaccinations, when should the first and last one be ? She has not been vaccinated for WNV before.

Thanks..

You can vaccinate at any time Karen but when is best depends on the risk in your area. The article on WNV explains the factors to take into account when making this decision and how to intially immunize horses. It also talks about vaccinating pregnany mares and their foals. Look at the paragraph under the Prevention heading.
