Dr. O,
I'm not sure if this is the proper place to post this question, so forgive me if I'm wrong. How long is it 'safe' to use Davis Boots on a horse.
I'm awaiting a skilled ferrier after my mare had a nuclear scan done on her. Thanks for your advice. Shirl

There is no answer that will work for all horses and all boots. A lot depends on how well the boot fits, the activity level of the horse, and how wet it is. If it fits well and it is dry, it could be worn in a stall indefinately as long as daily checks that the foot is staying clean and dry and there are no rubs or irritation.
