My mare only received 1/2 of the required dosage of her vaccine yesterday. I was reluctant to administer another dose. I have a call into my veterinarian for instructions. Any advice until then?

Thank you.

Yes a full dose should be administered but you want to do this fairly quickly before the half dose stimulates the immune system, I would say the next day is OK but there may be more soreness and swelling. Note, unless VEE is a threat in Hawaii I do not recommend you use it. Some feel it is more reactive than the other encephalitis vaccines and it does not help cross protect.
