With the problems of the flu in Australia this topic has become the number one destination on the site. I have edited and updated the information to increase clarity and information on transmission, treatment, and prevention.

Dr. O

The break out of EI flu virus in Australia. People have been using the herpes vaccine injection and it has been cleaning the flu virus up in a couple of days.

Have you heard of this before.

No KRM and considering everything we know about the vaccine, the improvement has been coincidental. It should be remembered we expect horses to recover from the flu with no treatment.
