Fracture of the pelvis in horses is a fairly common event yet presents a diagnostic and prognostic dilemma. The article presents summaries of studies on the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of pelvic fractures in the horse. To access the article select >> Pelvic Fractures >> on the navigation bar above.

Hi DrO,
Where's the new article on pelvic fractures (or any article)? When I click on 'pelvic fractures', I'm only getting posts... Maybe I'm holding my mouth wrong

Actually Lee it was new in July of 2004 and at first look I cannot find it myself, so I think you have your mouth held right. When I get in the office tomorrow I will continue the search.

Wow Lee having searched all of the office computers and last few years backups, this file cannot be found...The only way to explain it is during the initial load up process is for the file to have been accidentally deleted just prior to upload although I check all new articles so even that does not seem likely, it is like a twilight zone episode. I will see if I can get an article up later this week and apologize for the delay.

My vet tells me I am her, 'biggest client of the most uncommon illnesses and injuries and your horses rarely present by the book...'. Whenever I call her, she braces herself for something weird. Hopefully, I have not polluted HA with this 'weirdness'...

No rush on the article DrO, and thank you for looking into it.
