Dr. O.,
Would a four or six point block in the hind leg block out foot pain in the front of the foot? Or would you need a more specific block to the foot to really pin down the front of the foot as the source of pain?
Thanks,
Mary

Yes both a 4 or a 6-point should block out hoof pain in the hind leg.

Dr. O.,
The vet that blocked out Caymann's foot told me that the high PDN block was more specific for the front of the foot. Is that true? He also told me that block utilizes different nerves than the four/six point block. Just wondering..........
Thanks,
Mary

Mary, move this question over to the other one you started and we will try to stick with one discussion.
