Dr. O.,
Your article recommends feeding this as a possible preventative for ulcers. Where can I get it? My horses are both cribbers, and anything that can help their tummys is good for me. I was thinking of trying baking soda, but it seems it won't do much good from your article.

Trying again. I know the product is called Pronutrin, and made by boehringer ingelheim (denmark). Do you (or anyone else, maybe from Europe) know how I can get it and how much it costs?
TIA,
Alicia

Boehringer Ingelheim products are available through veterinary wholesale houses but I don't know if they offer their proprietary products through over the counter sellers: have you checked the large vet catalogs Alicia?

No, I assumed I wouldn't be able to get it in any of my catalogs (but I will look now). An internet search didn't show up any place to purchase it either. I have a phone number for a Canadian division of BI, but I haven't been able to call them yet. Apparently, this product has been around for 15 years (according to the US office). Not sure if that just means it doesn't work, or if it is just caught up in red tape. I will post after I talk to the Canadian office. However, if you would like to look in your vet wholesale catalog...... I wouldn't mind that either!
Thanks :-)

Maybe I posted that poorly Alicia, I meant the horseman's catalogs with health products. Since we do not sell products, I am not sure how finding it in my veterinary catalogs could help.

Christos,
I can't read that site, it isn't in English. Do you know how to translate? I did try translating before, but it did a poor job translating, and I only got about half of the words.
Dr. O.,
I thought you meant catalogs that vets use only. I will look in my catalogs, but I can't imagine it would be there if I can't find it on the internet.

Oops! In the process of translating, I see they only ship within Germany. Sorry, Alicia.
