Dr where do I find info on the stifle ligaments. My old mare has a left rear leg issue when going to the right in the round pen. She doesn't seem to mind going left and there is minimal head bob. I saddled her up and rode her at the walk and she doesn't seem to complain except she DrOps her head to the ground and prefers it that way. I'm using a light snaffle. This a.m she appeared hotter then usual all over but her temp was normal. I hosed her down and she wanted to roll but didn't because I have seen her difficulty in pushing off the hind end to get up. She's barefooted and its very dry so her hooves are dry. She appears to have a "charly horse" when I lift the LR and it takes a while to place it back down. I'm giving Bute but don't want to od her on this. I'm also cold washing and giving Epsom Salt soaks. I'm researching can you give me some more "tests" to do. She's eating and drinking fine.
