Hey Dr. O, I was wondering if you knew much about the new digital Coggins test. Any word on whether or not NC is doing them now? How hard would it be for us to start doing them?

Hello DrM,
I must plead ignorant, I have not heard of a "digital test" and cannot find any information about one. I have seen where some states have gone to using digital images and forms that if reusable would greatly simplify the procedure. A sticker could be issued for instance. Much of the cost in our standard NC Coggins test is the processing of the paper work and I always threaten my Paint clients with extra drawing fees. At least till they see my drawing, then it is hard to keep them from laughing. Is this what you are talking about?

I believe this is what she was referring to.
