Dr. O., My 24 yo QH has a swelling in his front left cannon, starting in the front, mid/low cannon and running diagonally down to the lateral side. It's not edemic (if that's a word), the horse is not lame (any more than usual he has a lot of arthritis, mostly hind-end). It's been present for 3 weeks. He is on maintenance bute, and upping his usual 1g per day had no effect. It has not changed one bit since it appeared.

Here is a link to a video I took - pictures were not helpful enough IMO. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsD53KUPhCs

I can't even find a significant matching structure on your anatomy charts to help me decide what is affected. Any help would be appreciated.

Brandi your video link didn't work for me anyway. It just took me to you tube, with nothing specific.

It does not work for me either. It says, "This video is private."

Try this one, sorry for the problems. I can't test it myself, because it works for me.

Brandi, try signing out of your Youtube account, then locate your video and copy the link. I think we are getting your sign-in page.

I could see the video after signing in to YouTube. It doesn't appear to be tender when touched.
