My horse has been having symptoms of founder but it is not a full blown case. He gets bute for a few days and than is good for about 2 weeks then starts to have symptoms again. My horse vet said it is probably a reaction to something he eats and it is compounding in his feet. He does not have any rotation of the coffin bones.any suggestions or ideas would be great. Are there any kind of tests that can be done to find out what the reaction is from??

Welcome spades,
Before you begin testing, I suggest you first learn about the characteristics of the possible causes. Often history and the signalment (characteristics of the horse itself) can help you diagnose the cause or at least point you in the right direction of what to begin testing for. To begin this journey start with Diseases of Horses » Lameness » Diseases of the Hoof » Founder & Laminitis » Founder & Laminitis an Overview. I am sure you will have some questions and you can post them there.
