My long yearling tore her hoof bulb and has a thick flap hanging from the top down. You state that advice for coronet band tears applies to bulb tears. You say that avulsions of the coronet band should be trimmed away. Is this true also for avulsions of the bulb?

Not avulsions of the coronet band PRUs but avulsions of the horn at the coronet. If you have torn loose horn it should be removed so that it does tear more living tissue if caught on something.
