  Discussion on Mare in heat prior to horse show

My mare is in heat right now. We are entered in a horse show that begins on Friday afternoon so she will be 48 hours into this heat cycle. Is it possible that being around all the geldings and studs in the barn could bring her into another heat cycle?

Hello Sherri,
I am not sure I understand your question. It is not the presence of the males that brings her into heat but their presence may make her display more estral behaviors.
