Dr O,
My 22 yr old horse (who recently underwent the top and bottom incisor extractions) did not DrOp his penis today when he urinated. Is that anything I should be concerned about. He did not seem in pain and was doing fine in every other way- bright, alert, eating, etc. For the extractions he was not given general anesthesia, just local and sedation, however, I am not certain what they used. Thanks for your help.

Hello Stephanie,
By itself no I don't think there is much to be concerned about. Some horses that do this do develop irritation in the sheath, so you might want to be sure it stays clean as is practical.
