According to the vet's report that came with these x-rays there is a "Left tarsal joint 45° slight OC".
My question is about the where exactly the location of the OC is and how serious it is. Would the horse be suitable for high level jumping? This horse is a 4yo warmblood.

Hello Nader,
He may be talking about the small lucency of the anterior aspect of the tibial articular cartilage seen in the oblique shot. We have discussed the problem with evaluating radiographs in a forum like this and you should ask the veterinarian for the location of the lesion. As to the horse's suitability for jumping that is not a question I would answer from radiographs as many factors figure into that decision.

Hi DrO
Thank you for the response. I think I see the one you are talking about. The lucency in the proximal aspect of one of the trochlear tali seen in the 135 degree view. What confused me is that the remark in the report calls out the 45 degree view.
Also, my apologies for asking the wrong questions. I will try not ask out-of-context questions and feel free to slap my wrist if I do.

Sorry one more question. What do you think the opacity in the square is? Thanks
