Hi, Dr. O,
My horse has rain rot on his back. During treatment, should he not be turned out where he can roll in mud, etc.? He really wants to be outside all the time, but it is really muddy. Should I try to keep him in if it rains? Or will the treatment work despite wet conditions?

Thank you.

It will heal quicker if you keep the horse clean and dry but you can probably get this healed up either way Nadia.
