I have read the articles and the associated research blurbs, my equine vet and myself ( vet tech ) are finially quite certain my gelding has this... but are looking for more info. Right now, barn life and pred seem to be the key.

Bummer Marci,
In a review of a large numbers of cases of SACOPD: -keeping the horse in the barn did not reduce severity
-many of these horses also have the normal COPD: allergy to hay molds.
-the only consistant resolution was obtained by moving the horse, sometimes out of state.
