I'm not sure where to post this question, but I hope Dr. O can help me. What causes leptospirosis (I'm not sure this is the correct spelling either)in horses, what are the symptoms, what kind of tests must be performed to diagnose it, and finally, what would be the treatment? I apologize for the long list of questions, and thank you in advance for your time and help.

Probably the best information on Lepto infection is at Equine Diseases: Reproductive Diseases: Problems Keeping Mares Pregnant: Leptospirosis & Abortion. It also is a frequently discussed subject so run a keyword search on lepto and read those posts. Any questions after that you can post here.
