Discussion on Bots Eggs on white horse
Author Message

We discovered bots eggs on our horses legs this weekend. Easy to see and remove on the two browns, but I just can't find them clearly on the white horse. Of course, I want to get them all off. Any suggestions from light colored horse owners?

I discovered the reason I couldn't find bot eggs on the white horse. He didn't have any. Until today. The little egg clusters were easy to see and scrape off, kind of a light brown color against the white hairs. Thought for sure that since the bays had eggs, the whitey in the same pasture surely must have as well. This solves the mystery, and I'm adding to my own post with the most obvious, but true, answer.
