  Discussion on Nose Bleed
Author Message

Our 13 year Dutch Warmblood occasionally has bleeding from his left nostril. This has happened after doing a round of jumping at a horse show - but also has happened at home in his stall. Our vet used a optical devise to visualize the nasal passage - but saw no abnormality. How should this be handled? Must he be withdrawn from a show if there is bleeding? Is there a treatment?
