My 18 year old mare is in her 3rd week of stall rest post sand colic surgery. My question is should I continue her glucosamine injections while she is confined or wait until she is back to more normal activity. I don't want to give her anything that would interfer with her normal healing.

There is no reason to discontinue them that I am aware of.
