I have come across a 5 year old Standardbred Stallion that will not tolerate anyone near his mouth for admin. of meds. I have contacted a pharmacy that will compound clenbuterol for me in an injectable form. I know ventipulmin is produced in the US but only in a per os form at 50 mcg/ml is this the same concentration as the injectable clenbuterol available commercially in other countries. Thanks Frank Pellegrini DVM

Hello Doc,
I do not have a injectable concentration but at least experimentally everyone seems to be using 0.8 micrograms / kg IV. Same as the oral dose. I believe this is given slowly. These are two references that used that concentration.
