My vet recommended giving my horse Adequan IM injections monthly. After doing research on your site, the manufacturer recommends every four days. The above article states that Adequan IM hits it's peak in about 48 hours, and persists in the system for up to 96 hours. Wouldn't that mean that the horse, to receive any type of benefit, would need the injection every 96 hours? What do you think?

I think there are many folks who question the usefulness of monthly Adequan. Some even question more frequent use as though you can measure it in the system for several days the concentration is minute.
