My 2year old filly that I saved from going to slaughter has a crooked front leg. She has been through a lot. After I bought her at an auction,( ($150) she came down with strangles and then a respiratory infection. We nursed her back to health. She will most probably be stunted in her growth.I am just wondering if there is any more I can do to help her or she will only be able to be used for light riding or used as a companion horse. She is a black registered quarter horse, very easy to work with. Is it too late for any leg straightening other than through surgery? Can you tell from a picture Dr. O?

Hello Sylvia,
Yes good pictures of the leg from both the front back and side would help and I would be glad to comment but it would not be as authoritative as a good exam by a veterinarian.
