Hi, I have a 20 year old mare who is due to foal next week. Her last pregnancy (three years ago) she didn't bag. I gave her Domperidone, no she hasn't been on Fescue, and she bagged up overnight. My Vet got me some tubes this week with no dosage instructions and is now in Bermuda.I Googled this and the dosages are all for fescue mares. Could you please tell me the correct dosage for this condition?
Thank you, Annette

Hello Annette,
You will find the dosage rate for domperidone at Diseases of Horses » Reproductive Diseases » Birthing Problems » Fescue Toxicity and Lactation Failure but if you don't have the same product described you will need to know the concentration of the product you have to calculate an appropriate amount to give.
