Thank you Dr. O, have I told you lately what a wonderful thing you're doing? Your input to confirm, correct, or deny is so valuable to me right now. I really do thank you very very much for starting HA.

Recent conversation between a new and old time member:

I hear ya about spending too much time here, but it's just so darn much fun, not to mention informative. It's like a mini equine college education!

This is off topic, but I have to say this too. I belong to a couple other message boards and on neither of them can you find not only as much useable information, and just good fun, but the level of intelligence, experience and integrity that the members on this board possess is what gives it the 'added value'.

So to all of you out there who trim your own horses, I share some bits of humor from my day as a swap for some pearls of advice... ... I do find trimming to be very satisfying and mentally stimulating, and I can thank Horseadvice for the start I have made.

I'd just like to say that there are some pretty special horsepeople on this forum that take the time to respond intelligently and with great sensitivity to very serious questions about our beloved equines. I would just like to express my sincere appreciation to all of you.

Thank you for being here, Dr. Oglesby. Having an educated opinion from a neutral source helps me to gauge the situation. I truly appreciate your kindness. My gelding and I both say thank you.

Y'all buy magazines???? I used to...until I joined this site! No need to any longer. Thanks Dr. O for the 'all inclusive' information we get on this site. In my mind, it has become my 'industry standard' and the first place I go before anywhere else.

Thanks Lee and Vicki! I appreciate your good wishes concerning my new baby, Commander! I have to say that when I was going through Buckeye's founder, members of horseadvice.com and Dr. O gave me lots of comfort, encouragement, and good advice...I love to read the posts on this site...it warms my heart that there are so many many folks out there who, like me, put so much effort into keeping our equine friends safe and content. Happy trails to you all!
