Discussion on Does this filly have potentual as a jumper??

Im looking at a VERY young (7 month old) filly. And I want to know will an arab x dutch WB be able to compete with all the other wb's & tb's out there & be successful? if so how much potentual(bout to what height)do you think shell be able to compete to?
I know theres alot of variables and that buyin a foal or any horse at this age is basically gambiling. I just want to know what her chances are & time to wait to ride her then eventually train her is not a concern.

The best thing to look at for potential are her parents - were they jumpers? Just because she's 1/2 Arab doesn't automatically reduce her potential by 1/2. At her age, there is no way to predict anything - she could have jumper parents out the wazoo, and may hate to do it.
