  Discussion on Dressage blanket size

I have purchased pad with inserts, the pad is shaped like the saddle.
This would have been fine with my jump saddle but since I intend to use it with my dressage saddle I am not sure what to do.
Do I put a dressage pad under it and use both?

Lori,

You may want to see if you can exchange it for one shaped like your dressage saddle.

You could try a thin pad under it, but may run the risk of overpadding and adversely affecting the fit of your saddle.

Hey, I opened Dressage Today magazine and there was someone riding with a wool pad and a full size dressage pad under it.
So, now I know.

Chris, I have already used the pad and as far as I know they only come in one shape, at least in my tack store. Thanks
