Wanting to know if cavaletti work is bad for a TB with suspensory problems. Will this be too harsh on the legs?}}

Welcome to HA, Lisa.
I am not a vet, but I think cavaletti work is not extra tax on the horse's legs.
It may even be beneficial, since it is all about balance, coordination and suppleness, not about height or speed.
You may have to be careful with cantering cavaletti, as it may invite the horse to jump higher than required, thus injuring a sensitive leg.
