Just had to come to the web site for a little pat on the back from my fellow horse people. I finally took Levi for our first trail ride off of the farm. I was a bit nervous, and so was he, but my fellow riders gave me a vote of confidence. We rode around the arena for a while, working out the bugs and then ventured out of the confines of happy land arena! Yikes, he really did great, and then the mosquitoes attacked. He got very jumpy, head tossing, but we made it back safe and sound. He threw a bit of fit at the end, we finished with about a 10 step walk and whoa! YEEEEHHHHHH, I did it. With time we just might make a good team. Just needed to share

Pat, pat & a (((hug)))) Susan!! Just keep doing arena work first and take your time. Before you know it the day will come where you just saddle up and ride all day long without a care in the world.

Happy Trails.
