I have a Tennessean saddle. Great saddle, but boy did it squeak. I couldn't talk to anyone on the trail. Let me just add my 2 cents worth that the baby powder works like magic. You have to use a lot and you've really got to get it up in there. My saddle was pretty messy for awhile, but boy did it ever work slick! And smell good too! :-)

Happy to report that the baby powder worked very nicely. Sherri is correct, you do have to get it sprinkled down in all the crevices. We went on a nice trail ride right after my powder treatment and nary a sound. I'm wondering if another deep sprikle may have worked for Paula?

I had to do mine twice also, but only because I was being stingy with the baby powder the first time. You have to turn the saddle upside down, use a whole bottle if you have to, shake it into those crevices but good....shake it out, and and then just let the rest slowly filter out. Bingo! You're done! It's like magic!
