I remember using an exercise by Linda a bunch of years ago on Guinness, and it was supposed to help him realize where his feet were. I don't remember the exact pattern, but there were poles set on the ground kind of like a maze, and the horse has to walk through it. It has a few u turns. I think the next step is to back through it. I wanted to try this on my new guy, but I don't remember the pattern. Does anyone else know it? Thanks! Alicia

Hi Alicia, I have 2 of "The Tellington-Jones Equine Awareness Method", think the exercise you are referring to is called the labyrinth. Sitting here trying to figure out how to explain and not confuse-lol. Would be easier to mail you the extra book I have- e-mail me your address and I will gladly mail you one of the books. hacihorsefarm1@msn.com Chris Glad you brought this up- I think my 2 yr olds that I have just started would love em to do some of the exercises.

Linda, Yes, that helps a lot! Chris, Thanks I got the exercise off the site Linda posted, and yes, it was the labyrinth I was remembering. I won't try it on him right away, I think the wavy lines would be easier to start him on, but I will try the labyrinth over the next few weeks. Thanks! Alicia

Intriguing...Can anyone do this? This might help my poor stiff about to be rehabbed boy. Can someone tell me how to lead as an elegant elephant?
